Book by Ki Ram Nagaraj, a professor of Kannada language and author of poems and plays. Sadly, I couldn’t find specific information about Nagaraj in English, other than this obituary. But this book appears to be about the life and works of Kannada playwright and actor, Samsa.

This cover seems so unusual to me – very small writing and very stark. I’m not sure what the illustration is supposed to represent… do I see a pen nib in there, in the gold? I also thought that the ರಂ was a ಹ for a minute. But I really like the bold wordmark that almost looks like a face or something (ಸಂಸ):
