Spread from an inexpensive children’s alphabet booklet I picked up at a Bengali bookstore in London’s Brick Lane neighborhood. Letter drawings seem to be based on the Linotype Bengali typeface, which is surely the most commonly used typeface in the Bengali-speaking world, designed by Tim Holloway and Fiona Ross.
